PART 1 — TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing the Site, playing the Game, or using any related Services, you confirm that you can form a binding agreement and that you accept these Terms of Service. If you are under the age of majority in your region, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Services.

2. LICENSE TO PLAY

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and play the Game for your own entertainment. You may not sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source assets from the Game except where permitted by law.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or community members.
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their servers.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Meta's platform policies.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.

4. ACCOUNTS & COMMUNITY

Some features, such as our Discord bot and community features, rely on your Discord and/or Meta account. You are responsible for activity that happens through your accounts. We are not affiliated with Meta or Discord, and your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Game, the Site, and all related names, logos, artwork, and content are owned by the Lethal Ape Reworked team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that content to you.

6. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Virtual reality experiences may cause discomfort for some players; please follow all safety guidance provided by your headset manufacturer.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

PART 2 — PRIVACY POLICY

8. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Gameplay data — such as in-game stats, progress, and scores used to power leaderboards and player profiles.
• Account identifiers — such as your Meta or Discord user ID, used to link your progress and community features. We do not collect your password.
• Basic technical data — such as device type and anonymized usage information used to keep the Services running and secure.

9. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Game and Site.
• Save your progress and display leaderboards and player stats.
• Provide community features through our Discord bot, such as account linking and stat tracking.
• Detect, prevent, and address cheating, abuse, or fraud.

10. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us run the Services (such as hosting and platform providers like Meta and Discord), or where required by law. Public elements you choose to participate in, such as leaderboards, may display a username or player identifier to other users.

11. DATA RETENTION

We keep gameplay and account data for as long as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact below), subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain information.

12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

13. YOUR RIGHTS
